DFC GALVANISED STEEL FLEXIBLE CONDUIT WITH PVC COATED

The highly flame retardant, low toxicity, low smoke density and halogen free properties of the outer sheath of this product make it ideal for use in those areas where fire is of particular concern, e.g. underground, tunnels, hospitals, high rise office blocks and public buildings. Electrical engineers can now specify a flexible conduit which is compatible with low smoke cable.

CONSTRUCTION:

Galvanized steel strips has been formed and helically wound into a flexible conduit. It is then coated with a uniform thickness of low smoke and fume PVC.

IP RATING:

IP 65 or IP 50 with standard fittings.

WORKING TEMPERATURES:

Min. -200C  and Max. + 80 C

COLOUR:

Standard Black. Other colour on request.

Steel flexible conduits are used where high mechanical strength or high flexibility is required or where high temperatures are experienced. The conduits are completely metallic and therefore can be used when a low fire hazard specification is required. Flexisystem is typically used for under floor wiring applications.

Galvanized steel strip, which has been formed and helically wound into flexible conduit.

WORKING TEMPERATURE:

Min.-O°C and Max.+300° C

COLOUR:

Self colour Grey zinc.
